For the little story: Taznakht was the essential passage for the caravans that crossed the Atlas at the foot of the mountain in the south of Morocco. Taznakht rugs are handwoven with pure sheep wool and are totally crafted by local craftswomen. It can be used the whole year as it was manufactured double-sided summer/winter. This particular rug is unicolor as you can see, it is pretty dark mirroring the local muddy terrain from the Berber villages, and has nice looking white tassels that add a touch of softness and coziness to both your bare feet and your lovely room.
